Disa Laboratory Information System
The Information Management System for today's Laboratory
Since 1982, Laboratory System Technologies (Pty) Ltd. have developed Lab Systems (LIS) based on distributed computer networks:- systems that are reliable by design. Our focus is on building multi-disciplinary systems that are exceptionally easy to use. Our systems support best laboratory practice and ISO 15189 conformance and address the demanding needs of today's laboratory.
Multi-disciplinary - Used in Clinical Biochemistry, Haematology, Microbiology (Bacteriology), Cytology, Histology (Anatomical and Cellular Pathology), Virology, Serology, Immunology, Toxicology, TB, Environmental/Public health, EQA and many other laboratories.
Scaleable - From single workstations in remote labs, to hundreds of workstations in large hospitals. From small private labs to multiple public laboratories serving entire countries. No lab is too big or too small.
Simple to deploy - For small labs without in-house IT experts, we offer a pre-configured MS-SQL based system. This can be up and running in a matter of days. For larger laboratories, a system based on either MS-SQL, MySQL or Oracle is available. These larger labs customise and update their own setups on an ongoing basis. So we provide full implementation and training services. Large labs can be up and running in as little as a month.
Easy to use - We take pride in our simple, intuitive user interface which follows the familiar Windows "point and click" standards. However, for speed, the system allows users to work with keyboard alone without wasting time reaching for the mouse.
International - DisaLab is currently used by laboratories in ten different countries. It adapts easily to local requirements and has the ability for users to work and report in multiple languages.
Affordable- For a full featured Laboratory Information System, DisaLab is among the most competitively priced in the international marketplace. Contact us to find out what it would cost for your laboratory. And, acknowledging the work of many charitable healthcare groups, DisaLab is offered FREE to qualifying NGOs, training institutions and Faith Based Organisations .
